Meet Rose.
The assistant who already knows your shop.

Rose is the assistant built into Drip & Bake. Ask how the morning is going, what's about to run out or what's due for pickup — or hand her a supplier receipt or an idea for the menu, and she prepares the work for you to confirm.

Rose, Drip & Bake's assistant: a smiling Black woman with her curly hair up, wearing hoop earrings and a café apron

Your shop's assistant, built into Drip & Bake.

Running a café means answering the same questions all day, from five different screens.

Rose already sits beside your orders, your stock, your menu and your books. She reads them the moment you ask and answers in a sentence, in your shop's own time zone and currency.

Your numbers in plain words. Your paperwork ready before you'd have found a pen.

01 / Ask

Ask in plain words.

"How are we doing today?" "What sold best this week?" "Who's still waiting on a BakeAhead pickup?" Ask the way you'd ask a manager, from the Admin dashboard on your laptop or your phone.

Rose looks it up in your shop's own records and answers with the numbers — takings, orders, top items, the busy hours — counted exactly the way your Overview counts them, so the two never disagree.

02 / Stock

Know what runs out before it does.

Ask what's running low and Rose tells you what's on the shelf, what usually sells, and roughly when each item is likely to run out — learned from your recent sales for that weekday and hour, so a slow Tuesday afternoon isn't mistaken for a Saturday rush.

For supplies in the back — milk, flour, beans by the bag — she works from the usage your team records, and tells you how many days you have left and what's already below its reorder point.

Where there isn't enough history to say, she says so rather than guessing.

03 / Receipts

Snap the receipt. Skip the typing.

Take a photo of a supplier's receipt, or attach the PDF invoice, and Rose reads it: the supplier, the date, every line, the tax and the total.

She matches each line to the supplies you already stock — "OATLY BARISTA 1L" becomes your oat milk — and flags anything she couldn't read clearly instead of inventing it.

Check the card, change anything that's wrong, and receive it in one step: back stock goes up, the delivery is recorded with its receipt attached, and the purchase lands in Financial Records.

04 / Menu

New items, drafted in your voice.

"Add two autumn lattes." Rose reads your menu first — its sections, its prices, the way you describe things — and drafts names, descriptions and prices that sit comfortably beside what's already there.

Edit them on the card and create them as drafts. Customers can't see a draft; add your photos in Menu & Items and publish when you're happy.

05 / The counter

The short answer, at the counter.

Rose is on the Service Dashboard too, for the person behind the counter: what's in the queue, which pre-orders are due this morning, whether there are croissants left.

Everyone on the team can ask her, and she only reads what that person's role lets them open. Someone who can't see sales won't hear them from Rose.

06 / Your call

Nothing changes until you say so.

Rose reads. She never changes your shop on her own: menu items and deliveries arrive as cards you can edit, and only the button on the card makes them real.

When you press it, the change goes through the same path — and the same permissions — as doing it yourself on the page. Only owners and managers can confirm.

Thought through, underneath

Your shop's records.
Nobody else's.

Where Rose's answers come from, and who she answers to.

Only your shop, only what you can see.

Rose works inside your workspace and nowhere else. She has no way to reach another business's orders, customers or stock.

Each person's conversations are their own, and every change made from a card is recorded against the person who confirmed it.

Numbers from your records, not guesses.

Every figure Rose gives comes from your records at the moment you ask. She doesn't estimate takings, round up stock, or fill a gap from general knowledge.

She can still misread a smudged receipt or a question with two meanings, which is exactly why changes wait on a card for you to check.

Questions

What she can do,
and who can ask.

How many questions can we ask?

The free trial includes questions so you can try Rose on your own shop. With the Rose add-on, each workspace has a monthly allowance, and Rose shows how many questions are left.

Can Rose change prices, refund an order or message customers?

No. Rose can prepare new menu items and deliveries for you to confirm. For anything else, she tells you which page to use.

Who on the team can use Rose?

Everyone with access to your dashboards. Each person sees only what their role allows, and only owners and managers can confirm a change.
