Coming soon to the App Store
The counter, on its own iPad.
Drip & Bake Service.
Drip & Bake Service is the Service Dashboard as an app for iPad and iPhone: the queue, the clock and the shift's pages, on the device that lives by the till.
Connected to the shop once, by an owner or manager.
A counter tablet shouldn't be a browser someone can wander off in.
A shared iPad gets closed, redirected and left on the wrong page. The app opens on your shop, stays on the counter's pages, and tells the person on shift when an order comes in.
Your team's screen, with nothing else on it.
01 / The app
Made for the iPad by the till.
The app is the Service Dashboard your team already knows — Live Store, the clock, the shift — full screen, with no address bar and no tabs to lose.
It opens straight onto the queue, and it opens there tomorrow morning too.

02 / Setup
Set up once, by you.
An owner or manager signs in once with their Drip & Bake account to connect the iPad to the shop. From then on it opens at your shop's staff portal.
Your own sign-in is used for that moment only and is never kept on the device, so a shared iPad never holds the keys to your business.
03 / Sign-in
Then everyone signs in as themselves.
Each shift, your team signs in with their own Employee ID and password, and sees the pages their role allows — exactly as they would in the browser.
If the iPad changes hands or leaves the shop, it can be signed out of your shop from the staff portal.

04 / Notifications
New orders, told to whoever's on.
When an order is placed, the app can notify the people on shift: the order number, who it's for and what they ordered, on the lock screen. Tapping it opens the queue.
Only people who are clocked in are notified, so nobody hears about the morning rush on their day off. Each device can turn them off — the counter iPad and the phone in someone's pocket rarely want the same answer.

05 / The pages
Only the counter's pages.
The app carries the pages a shift runs on — Live Store, the shift, Timecards, BakeAhead, Ticketing, Refunds, Menu, Inventory and Tap & Tend — and each person sees only the ones their role allows.
Billing, settings and the rest of the business stay in Admin, in a browser. A link to anything else opens in Safari, outside the app.

Thought through, underneath
Always current.
Easy to take back.
Why the app never needs updating to improve, and how an iPad leaves your shop.
Always the version you're running.
The app shows the live Service Dashboard, so an improvement reaches the counter the moment it reaches the browser — without waiting on an app update.
Easy to take back.
An owner or manager can disconnect the iPad from your shop in Service → Settings, and it goes back to setup. Using it for your shop again takes an owner or manager signing in once more.
Questions
The app, the browser,
and the tablet you have.
Do we need the app to use the Service Dashboard?
No. The Service Dashboard runs in any browser, on any tablet. The app adds a dedicated counter device and order notifications for the people on shift.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. On an Android tablet, the Service Dashboard runs in the browser and does everything the app's pages do, apart from notifications.
