Two shops, one brand.
Change the menu once.

Two workspaces, one owner, one group — linked from the account.
The second location is where most café software starts to show its seams.
Either every shop is a separate account and the menu is typed in twice, or everything is shared and nothing can be different. Linked Mode is precise about what's the same everywhere and what belongs to one shop.
One brand to your customers. Separate shops to your accountant.
01 / Linking
Linked by the owner, in one step.
From your account, choose the workspaces you own and link them into a group. The shop you start from sets the shared menu, and every other location receives it.
There's nobody to invite and nothing to approve: every shop in a group is yours, and each one in the group has Linked Mode.

02 / Editing
Edit once. See it everywhere.
Open a linked editing session from any location and change the shared menu, logo or theme. Your edits appear in that shop straight away.
When you save and exit, you see exactly what will change in every other location, then confirm to apply it to all of them at once — or discard it, and the shop you were editing goes back to how it was.
03 / Local
Different where it should be.
Some things are the same everywhere by design. Others start the same and can differ by location — so a shop in a busier part of town can charge its own price for the same flat white.
When a value should never differ, lock it, and it follows the group from then on.
04 / Customers
One regular, every location.
A customer's loyalty standing counts across all your linked shops, so a regular at one is a regular at all of them — and they climb one ladder, not a separate one per door.
Your customer register shows people who order from any of your locations, not only the one they signed up at.
Standing never crosses into somebody else's business. It's one relationship with you, not with the platform.

05 / Per shop
What stays with each shop.
Stock, staff, shifts, the order queue, payroll and the books are always per location — never shared, whatever you link.
Each shop keeps its own shelf and back room, its own team and timecards, and its own financial records, so you can see how every location is really doing.
06 / Joining and leaving
Joining and leaving, cleanly.
A shop that joins a group receives the group's shared menu, and you're shown any names that clash before anything is written.
A shop that leaves hands back what the group gave it and keeps what it brought, so leaving never takes away something that was yours to begin with.

Thought through, underneath
Shared configuration.
Separate access.
What happens to an item that's been sold, and who can see what.
Nothing sold is ever deleted.
An item that has ever been ordered can't be deleted anywhere in the group — it's archived everywhere instead — so past orders, receipts and records always know what was sold.
Linked for editing, separate for security.
Linking shares configuration, not access. A manager at one location sees that location's orders, customers and staff, and nothing from the others.

Separate shops to your accountant.
Your second location should take an afternoon to set up, not a week of copying.
