We build the online half of your café.
We don't take a cut of it.
Drip & Bake is the online storefront of the physical café and bakery: ordering, loyalty, the queue, the team and the books, designed as one system. These are the principles it's built on.
Most café software is a collection of products. We think the value is in how they fit together.
Any one feature exists somewhere else. What's rare is a system where the order, the customer, the stock, the shift and the books are the same record — designed by people who have thought hard about how a café actually runs.
The checkbox isn't the product. The interpretation is.
01 / Principle
Composition is the product.
An order is what the queue shows, what the stock is taken from, what loyalty is earned on and what the books are built from. One record, not seven copies kept in step.
The question we ask isn't whether a specialist tool has more features. It's whether a café gains more from these designed together than from assembling them one at a time.
02 / Principle
No cut of your sales.
You pay for the software. The money your café earns settles into your own payment account, and we take no percentage of it — not of orders, subscriptions or tickets.
Charging a share of every sale would mean earning more whenever you work harder. We'd rather earn it by building something worth paying for.
03 / Principle
Prove it before we charge for it.
Start with no card, with the platform unlocked. Put a QR code by your counter and let your own customers decide whether it's worth it.
We should have to prove ourselves to your café, not the other way round.
04 / Principle
Work with what you have.
We don't ask a café to rip out its till or change its payment provider. Drip & Bake runs beside what already works, and connecting to more of it — starting with POS systems — is what we're building next.
Drip & Bake adapts to the business. The business doesn't adapt to Drip & Bake.
05 / Principle
A generous core. Add-ons that earn their place.
Everything a café needs to run and sell online is in one subscription. The systems that help a shop grow or take a whole job off someone's hands are add-ons, chosen by the café, priced for what they're worth.
We won't strip the core to manufacture reasons to upgrade.
06 / Principle
Lock the tool, never the record.
If you stop paying for something, the tool locks. Your records don't. Your financial history, your data and your customers are yours to read and take with you, whatever your plan.
Leaving should never be a punishment.
07 / Principle
Accessible doesn't mean cheap.
We want any café to be able to start without a sales call, a contract or a card. That's different from being the cheapest option.
The aim is software a café is glad to pay for — the kind where it cost more than you planned and you don't regret it.
08 / Principle
Honest on every page.
Our pages describe what the product does today. Where something isn't built yet, we say so; where a price appears, it's read live from our own billing settings.
09 / Principle
New value shouldn't take old value away.
When we improve something, what you already rely on keeps working. An update is a reason to be pleased, not a reason to check what broke.
Built with cafés
Software for the shop.
Not a tollbooth on it.
If something here doesn't match how your shop works, tell us. That's how the next part gets built.
Start free — no card needed. Print your counter sign, put it beside the till, and see what happens.
